Whole School:

Please ensure ALL children bring coats to school daily.

Please ensure meals are ordered by 11pm on Saturdays for the following week.

Children should NOT be drinking energy drinks/fizzy drinks in school. Only water should be in drinks bottles.

Next week is Time Week at Eastover. All the children will be investigating vocabulary associated with the different phases of the day and all things time-related. We will be practising telling the time and investigating night and day and the seasons. You can help by asking your child to tell the time by starting with o'clock times and building up to half past, quarter past and quarter to and then on to minute times for key stage 2 children. If your key stage 2 child has an analogue watch, please encourage them to wear it (no smartwatches please).

Analogue watches make great Christmas presents if you're already planning ahead!

School Survey We’d be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete our short survey. Your responses will remain confidential. Please click the link to fill in the survey- https://forms.office.com/e/XzZya3D4an

Every person has the capacity to experience and express a wide range of emotions. Parenting—or caring for a child—is a unique emotional journey, filled with both joyful moments and meaningful challenges. For many parents, connecting with their children during emotional times can be one of the most rewarding, yet also one of the most difficult aspects of parenting.

The Tuning in to Kids program offers practical strategies to help parents and carers support their children’s emotional development. With a variety of approaches to choose from, families can find tools that suit their unique needs and circumstances.

Young Somerset, are trained facilitators and will be running a six-week Tuning in to Kids course. Each session lasts around two hours and includes a refreshment break. We look forward to supporting you on your parenting journey.
